Procrastination

I have come to the conclusion that if I would have kept drawing my entire life like my sister I would be pretty darn good. I hope this is a good conclusion to make, but of course your own work always looks good until three days later. And then when you look back at your art you just go "huh," because your drawing or creation or whatever never really was that good to start off with.

Though there are some drawings that still look good ten years down the road but those drawings come from loads of practice. I have been practicing drawing some. I have wanted to be an artist for a long time but motivation is a hard thing for me to overcome. And motivation is not just needed in the art aspect of my life. It also is a problem with my WHOLE LIFE!!!! I hate to start things for some reason. Biology papers, chemistry extra credit, speeches, ect...

So i am sick with procrastination. *sigh* How do I get rid of it?

Drawings + me = What the....

So as I previously stated in the last post I was feeling down so I decided to draw something while listening to netsirK's playlist on her blog (good music!!!).

At first I was going to draw a real human face. But then I wanted to draw something more like anime. But once I was done with the eyes I saw that I had a little mix of both. *sigh*. Alas, I could not accomplish a full anime or a full realistic look. This is my first drawing of a face that was facing in MY direction so I had absolutely NO IDEA what to do with the mouth. But whatever. And I also was trying to draw a boy... but he looks more like a really young feminine boy..... Oh well...

On the Mind....

Ok, So not one person commented on my post... how sad. I would have liked to wait to post another something until I had at least one comment but sadly that did not happen.

Do you want to know what I am doing right now? Well I am looking up drawing tutorals. I tried to avoid my computer but somehow I keep being drawn back to it for one reason or another. Because if I go to my computer I usually get side tracked and bad things happen. Like right now. I was sidetracked and decided to write on my blog. But I guess some things cant be helped.

I really just love to type out things that are not required of me. There are a few things on my mind right now. Care to listen?

First I am incredibly mopy right now. I just lay down and cried for about five minutes and then I started talking to myself. It helps with my self esteem and when I talk to myself I get things done instead of just thinking about them. So after crying I decided to fill my brain with some chemistry knowledge until that got boring and then... Wala! Here I am.

The second thing on my mind is typing. I have finally met someone who types faster than I do!! It is pretty amazing. She is, like, a typing wizard!!!

The third thing on my mind is my academics. So far college has been one wild roller-coaster! I do bad, then I do good, then I do bad again. I am still waiting for me to settle down and get some consistencies!!! I am sick and tired of these C and D grades!!! I want some As danget!!

So that is baisiciall all that I wanted to say. It really feels good to type to something again.

Cover song by katem3 and paramore

I was looking at some amvs and there was one that was done with a cover song. Now I have never heard of an amv with an song that was downloaded off of youtube! So I was really intreagued to go look at some more cover songs and I found this one. I really like it even though I have never heard of the original song.

Movie lines

I was using stumbleupon when I stumbled upon (ha ha get it?) when I came across this video of the most famous movie lines.
A supreme example is one my sistah uses all the time; "I see dead people....." This quote is from The sixth sense. The only reason I know this is because I watched this video.... Now watch it for yourself....



I know that the background music does need to be turned down a bit or eliminated all together. But you get the main concept.

Speeches

Sigh, I wanted to type something real quick before I rush off to give a pre-speech. This is where I go to the speaking center so others can critique my speech for extra credit. My speech is on Alcohol and how the legal age should not be lowered to 18. Now this is just a speech I am giving. It does not mean that I agree with what I am saying. Actually I don't really care which way people swing on this issue cause I don't like alcohol. Abstinence is best in this situation. But of course we are all human beings and nobody will tell us what to do!!
