For now...

Why is keeping a blog so hard to do? For me it seems more like a chore then something fun to do. Like exercising. For a few days I will really be into it: exercising every day for about an hour. Then something in my brain goes off and I just stop exercising because it becomes boring dull. Same thing is happening here.

Sorry to say :(

This doesn't mean that I will take you down, my little blog, but it does mean that I am going to continue to neglect you.

That is all,
Steph

Right Brain vs Left Brain

So in my Anatomy class we learned about the brain and about the right side vs the left side. For most people the left side is more active because it is where you control and learn speech, develop more concrete ideas, ect. The left side is basically the logic side. The right side is more creative and deals with reading, music, and craftiness.

There are many tests online that a person can take to tell if they are right brained or left brained.

I remember taking one of these tests when I was in middle school or elementary school or something. My test showed that I was left brained. Today I decided to see if my brain changed. I took 5 different right brain left brain tests and they all gave me the same answer: I am now right brained.

So I started thinking and then it felt like everything just clicked. When we got computers in middle school I started surfing the web for greater periods of time and I read a LOT of fiction and that process uses the right brain. It was at this time that I also started to daydream more often. And since I was using my right brain more then my left brain it got harder for me to get good grades in school.

I just had to share with you my EUREKA! moment lol :)

Peace out,

Acne war

Many of you know all about the troubles of acne. I am very well known of all of the troubles that come with this battle. You have to wake up in the morning and encourage yourself to look in the mirror. Maybe you will see a beautiful princess staring back at you with not a blemish upon her skin. But most likely you will see the wicked witch of the west with a big ZIT on her nose (or chin in my case). This has been happening to me for most of my semi-adult life and I am sick and tired of it.(Note how the girl in the pic is using a blackhead remover even though her skin is silky smooth, I find this preposterous)

I have used various products and they all seem to work.... at first. Then my skin gets used to them or builds up a bigger defense wall and boom. The acne is back. So this time I am going all natural baby! You heard me. Natural. This means using the wanderful products arround that arent made specifically for zapping those zits.

I have been reading it up and I have found various methods to remove the acne from a frowning face such as my own. At the current time I am testing out Lemon juice and man does that bad boy sting. At first I put straight lemon juice on my face and I nearly went into shock from the nerve endings on the pores of my face screaming at me. The pain was so unbearable that I immedetly had to remove the still wet juice from my face.

Upon further research I discovered that you are not supposed to put strait juice on your face. It is supposed to be mixed with a soothing lotion. Way to go Steph for not reading the directions once again. So this time I added lemon juice to some exema thereapy lotion from Aveno that I have. It still stun a little but it is so much less intense then a screaming face.

So for now I will just have to see how this all pans out.

HOME!

I am finally enjoying Christmas break and liven the good life! lol. Of course, when I get home I realize that my apartment that I am living in at school has a bigger kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom them my house in Petersburg. When I arrived home I was very puzzled at this smallness of my home and it took me a few minutes to realize that the house also has wood in it. In my roomates' and I apartment there is no dark wood only really light wood. Therefor it not noticed as much. But all of these minor differences aside, lets move on to the bigger differences.

The tv at the house is MUCH smaller then the one at the apartment. At least it still works though. Also the bed that I am sleeping in at the house is MUCH smaller as well. But this is all ok because I am home.

So Peace Out!

More about Pets

One way to tell if you are pet deprived: you start talking to yourself. Yep, I do this all the time. And it is because there is no animal to focus my cuddly lovey attitude to. :( tis very sad. I do have a fish named Twinkle but he cannot understand my loud language. I also can't hold him so although Twinkle is a great pet he does not satisfy my need of some animal to touch.

Since the apartment that I am in does not allow pets all I have is my computer. Well mostly youtube. I love how people put their cute pet videos on youtube for all to see. It makes me feel happy to see a cat playing with a bearded dragon!

Yes, I said bearded dragon. So far I have not been able to get them out of my obsession zone of my brain. For those of you who don't know I have a little, what I like to call, obsession zone in my brain. It is not super hard core where I am like a crazy drug addict. It is just when I get an EXTREME liking for some random thing because I saw it somewhere. The focus of this obsession zone has ranged from certain types of songs, to origami, to action movies. And right now that part of my brain has been focused on Bearded Dragons.

Look how fat that one is! These marvelous creatures are supposed to have a wide spread palate of personalites. I have been researching and reading about other people experiences on a forum called beardeddragon.org. It is cool to look at peoples successes and hardships though dragon owning. It just makes me all the more excited to get one!!! And I WILL GET ONE! someday.....
